To me good costumer service looks like a good mood and willingness to help costumers. I think of it kinda being like if you were serving family or entertaining guests; What would your ettiquette be like? But sometimes you always run into a bad server at one point or another. One that would spill drinks on you and give you an attitude, or would serve you a dish you did not order. But it only takes one bad experience to ruin a reputation of a restaurant. It can happen to one person and they will tell all of their friends. But good costumer service I have encountered is at a certain Mexican restaurant, where they treat you like family and will gladly fix a problem you may have had with your meal. I also think costumer service is changing in the ways to fixing itself to make things better for the people at the tables. Because I know I wouldn't go back to a restaurant if I was treated poorly. And I hope you wouldn't do the same!
